A beautiful Dark Opal from the Mintabie Opal mines in South Australia.
Mintabie and it’s opal fields were shut down over 4 years ago, as a direct result this material is becoming increasingly rare!
This stone displays gorgeous vibrant green and blue colouration in playful broad flash and flag patterns.
Cut to a freeform cabochon with a high quality finishing polish.
