A rare Opalised partial Shell Geological Specimen from Lightning Ridge.
This specimen now displays crystal opal with blue colouration alongside potch opal that has replaced the shell grain.

Anyone that buys these knows it’s 1/1000 to find a crystal center. Unfortunately that didn't happen this time. But the size of the large nut exceeds the size of a baseball. Very large. I’ll keep trying though
