A stunning, Unique Culmination of a layer of Crystal Opal over Natural Matrix Opal from Andamooka, South Australia.
Found and cut by Isaac Andreou during his latest filming efforts for the renowned “Outback Opal Hunters” tv show as seen on discovery channel!
This natural opal type is often treated to make the famous Black Andamooka Matrix Opal, but in this case the gem quality nature combined with the layer of higher quality Crystal on top dictated the wonderful finish as seen here.
This stone displays vibrant orange, yellow, metallic green and blue colouration in dazzling flag, pinfire and chaff patterns!
