I received my second order of opal at the end of last week, as I've been away. Although I received a message saying my parcel had been delivered it hadn't. I had to go to the Royal mail sorting office to pick it up.

I was pleased with my purchase. The 5 tribal Queensland opal set are stunning colours on both sides and unique, and you can see they all come from the same stone.
The 2 set necklaces are also from the same stone and vibrant blue and green colours and again unique. I will keep one for myself and give one to my daughter as a present.

The vial of fossil shells have all colours, including red. Not sure what I'm going to do with them or the Lighting Ridge chips I purchased previously. I'm not a jeweller or a lapidarist, but I do have a few ideas.
I also got a drilled Tribal drilled Queensland Boulder opal pendant in my second parcel. Would that be from Yowah?

I previously purchased a crystal centre Yowah nut double sided with lovely green and blue colours.
I'm going to have it put it in a necklace, and have given it to my granddaughter called Opal, named after my late mother and her grandmother's birth stone.

It is interesting to see that opal shows up more in direct sun light and in water. What is also interesting is people's perception of what opal is and how it can form in ironstone, wood, shells or any fossil life. Most people I've spoken to have the image of opal from what they see in jewellery shops in the UK, and not say opal patterns found in Yowah nuts for example.

Anyway, I am happy with my purchases and the service you provided.
