A beautiful and rare Australian Boulder Opal cut from a Yowah Nut with a partial Crystal Centre!
This stone displays predominantly green and deep blue colouration in transparent crystal opal fully framed by ironstone.
Cut to a freeform cabochon with a quality finishing polish.

Always fun to cut
Anyone that buys these knows it’s 1/1000 to find a crystal center. Unfortunately that didn't happen this time. But the size of the large nut exceeds the size of a baseball. Very large. I’ll keep trying though
