An exceptionally rare Australian Black Boulder Opal from the Yowah nut formation.
This stone displays gorgeous red, orange, green and blue colouration contrasting with black ironstone in playful floral and pinfire patterns.
Cut to a freeform shape with a high quality finishing polish.
Total weight - 39.1cts approx.
Area of Mine - Yowah, Outback Queensland, Australia

Mystery dip lovely surprise
I treated myself to an opal ring and thought, why not pay a little more for the mystery dip. The entire parcel took a week to arrive in the UK which is pretty fast. The ring is perfection, the opal has reds and blues; and the mystery dip what can I say. A little parcel of rough opal and a large, beautiful Queensland tribal stone, polished and showing all the colours. I am now looking for a silversmith to put it in a wide bangle.
I am so glad I took the punt. To those of you debating it, go for it, you never know what you may find.
